This in-depth course provides a foundation in ArcGIS and open-source mapping tools such as Carto DB. Learn to create and manipulate layers, locate public data files, understand symbols and tell a story using the language of maps. Share maps with co-workers, clients and decision makers. By the end of the course, you will understand how mapping tools are used to analyze and visualize data. Learn to discover patterns, obtain information, and communicate that information to others.
